Final Standings in the PJSA 2006 Tog and Sea Bass Tournament included:
Tog Division
First Place:
Kip Tobish: 8.85 pound fish

Scoring big on an end-of-the-tournament wreck trip is Kip Tobish with his 8.85 pound tog, taken on a breezy July 2 while fishing with Al Gillen on a wreck in 26 feet of water.

Weigh-in and length of Kip's two keeper tog. Kip's honorable mention 7.86 pound fish is above his 8.85 puond fish.
Second Place:
Steve London: 7.91 pound fish
No photograph available (can somebody please get this man a camera?).
Third Place:
Don Orpen: 6.49 pound fish

Don Orpen fishing aboard Dave Kirk's boat on April 20 nailed this 6.49 pound fish.

Another shot of the same fish Don caught.

Don's brother Jason got in on the action as well with a nice early season tog of his own.

We don't call him Dave "The Limit" Kirk for nothing!
Honorable Mentions:
Tom Jordan: 10 pound tog

Caught on July 15 aboard Dave "The Limit" Kirk's boat - nine days too late - Tom Jordan still tried to slip this huge tog through as a late entry but he got caught! Too bad, but it's still an incredible catch Tom!

Another great fish taken by Tom Jordan and Jason Orpen aboard Capt. Kirk's boat - this one 9 pounds 13 ounces, but also 9 days too late.
Kip Tobish: 7.86 pound tog (see photo above)
Honorable Mention:
Steve London: 7.36 pound fish
No photograph available
Kyle R: 5.1 pound fish

Al Gillen's nephew Kyle hefts his personal best tog ever, a 5.1 pound fish that looks to be finishing well out of the money.
Sea Bass Division
First Place:
Stan Kluskiewicz: 3.82 pound sea bass

Stan Kluskiewicz nailed this gorgeous 3.82 pound sea bass on May 21, his biggest sea bass ever, and the biggest sea bass to ever come aboard Al Gillen's boat. Can it stand the test of time by other tournament competitors?
Second Place:
Dave Kirk: 3.57 pound sea bass

Dave Kirk displaced his own earlier entry with this 3.57 pound sea bass taken May 19.
Third Place:
Steve London: 2.83 pound sea bass
No Photo available.
Honorable Mention:

Tom Jordan, Don Orpen and Blair Capriotti show off a good day's work. Tom's fish weighed in at 2.23 pounds.

Bob Kovich, a new PJSA member and an individual competitor in the 2006 Wreck tournament, shows off the result of a good day's fishing, but he's going to have to make another trip to displace one of the leaders currently on the board.

Dave Kirk set the early pace in the Sea Bass Division with this 2.93 pound fish.
Another Honorable Mention goes to club president Randy Alkins, who nailed a 1 pound, 12-ounce fish taken on Memorial Day weekend.

New PJSA member John Herron shows off a nice sea bass taken on May 21 aboard Al Gillen's boat, caught minutes after the Stan Kluskiewicz's fish shown above.

Yet another nice catch put together by Tom Jordan, Dave Kirk and crew on May 30.
