Congratulations to the 2007 PJSA Wreck Tournament Winners - Dave Kirk and Howard Steinberg!
Tog Division
First Place:
Howard Steinberg: 12.36 pound fish
Talk about a close contest, on Sunday May 27, Howard Steinberg got his first entry. Enjoying a great day until his winch died, Howard's crew nailed a half-dozen tog over 8 pounds, including a fish Howard caught that weiged in at 12.36 pounds.

Second Place:
Dave Kirk: 12.3 pounds

Leave it to Dave Kirk and crew to break the ice with a big fish early in the season. Not only that, this fish was caught aboard Dave's new boat, on its first trip offshore. What a way to christen a new boat. (weigh slip pending)

Third Place:
Al Gillen: 8.33 pound fish

A nice fish taken by Al Gillen, but a youngster compared to that honking big trophy that Dave Kirk caught (shown above)!
Honorable Mentions:
Tom Jordan: 6.5 pound Tog

Sea Bass Division
First Place:
Dave Kirk: 4.23 pound sea bass

Dave Kirk took the early lead with this fish taken on May 18, it looked like the game was over and done with, but maybe not.... as there are apparently some big sea bass lurking around on the inshore wrecks right now.

Second Place:
Stan Kluskiewicz: 4.22 pound fish

Stan Kluskiewicz, the winner of the Sea Bass division of our 2006 tournament, came through again with a big entry when fishing aboard Al Gillen's boat on May 20. Talk about a heartbreaker, Stan's fish missed taking over first place by only the smallest of margins.

Third Place:
Tom Jordan:

Tom Jordan brought his 2.8 pound entry into the contest at the last minute to nail third place in the Sea Bass division.
